“Equally as beautiful as their earlier work, Vacation, this album maintains the duo’s love for brooding ballads, elegant keys and heart-thumping drums. But they’ve expanded their horizons this time round, adding fuzzy effects which are peppered throughout the album. Other surprises include Jo Syme’s soaring vocals, the minimal use of garage rock (in comparison to Vacation) and cinematic synths.”
