Big Scary’s ‘Not Art’ Wins the Australian Music Prize

Congratulations to Big Scary to winning the 9th annual Australian Music Prize for their sophomore release “Not Art”.

The prize, awarded annually for the best Australian album of the previous year by the Australian Music Prize organisation, has been awarded every year since 2005 and comes with a $30, 000 cheque for the winning band.

The band came in first over a competitive field of nominated Australian albums that also included Jagwar Ma’s Howlin’, Horrorshow’s King Amongst Many, and Cloud Control’s Dream Cave.
